I have incredible friends.
…seriously. Incredible. They threw me a surprise birthday party tonight. I was completely blown away. My birthday is December 24th, so I haven’t really had a party with my friends since I was ten since everyone’s always out of town or busy with family. So tonight, I was told that my friends were having a movie night as they often do. This time it was steam punk themed. One of...

Four Common Misconceptions about Irene Adler:
makokitten: 1) Sexuality was never a huge part of her character This is demonstrably untrue.  In the original story of “A Scandal in Bohemia,” Irene Adler was a retired opera singer who, some years previously, had an affair with the future King of Bohemia, Sherlock Holmes’ client, seducing him even though they were of far different societal stations.  The client describes her as an...

I am the BEST BOYFRIEND.
:D I posted this ^ on his tumblr, which he so foolishly left open. NO REGRETS. For my birthday, he got me the most incredibly bitchingly awesome pair of steampunk boots and then we cuddled and he lent me his gameboy color so I could play pokemon for the first time and then there was cuddling and so many pokemons and gosh I just love him so much. The end.

I asked her to take off her hood, and she refused. I thought she was just being difficult and ignored it. After breakfast we got… This is a wonderful article.

rantcasey replied to your post: Introducing the boyfriend to Buffy. Although I really like Season 2 I do too, but 3 is my favorite and where I really think Joss hit his stride. Season 1 is super awkward. I tried to show him that and he was not terribly keen.

To Music
Music: breathing of statues. Perhaps: silence of paintings. You language where all language ends. You time standing vertically on the motion of mortal hearts. Feelings for whom? O you the transformation of feelings into what?—: into audible landscape. You stranger: music. You heart-space grown out of us. The deepest space in us, which, rising above us, forces its way out,— holy...
